| I loved this movie, rented and watched it twice in 2 days. I was captivated by the titles (at 24 hours shooting Timelapse the New York skyline taken from the top of the Chrysler Building) and then the first scene: Bruce Willis of the pilgrimage with drunken sycophantic handlers through the bowels of a hotel, leaving chaos in its wake. It may not have improved since that point, but I've never lost interest. What I miss that led to so many people do not like the movie? |
| This was a good movie. I have read many comments that people thought it was horrible, but I think it was good. There was a great cast. Bruce Willis was great as the reporter almost always drunk, Tom Hanks as the type of issue with a husband who is a successful mixture and run accident. Beth Broderick was too good, but this Bonfire of the Vanities, The movie allowed a small role that was a decisive role. Melanie Griffith is irritating at times, but that was the way his character was so brilliant in that role.
